Hi, I'm Julia!
WELCOME
As a software engineer you don't really talk to users, but sometimes you will get feature requests and think to yourself "Hmm, I wonder why they need that". Which is why I turned to UX Design, to answer that exact question! Combining my passion for art and my experience in software engineering, I bring varied perspectives and skills to my work. Take a look below and feel free to contact me for questions!
I am a Software Engineer turned UX Designer who loves learning about the way users work and creating the best possible solutions for them.

Breathtures - Bachelor's thesis
For my bachelor's thesis I developed an Android app that was controlled by breath, using a shirt with stretch sensors that could measure chest and stomach breathing.
The goal of the thesis was to find out if a UI could be designed in a way that is intuitive and immersive to use.
There is a conference paper that includes the usability study I did:

Closely working together with engineering for Domain Driven Design
